    Setting Up HP Scanners
Submitted By: admin Date: May 15, 2013, 06:08:06 PM Views: 1233

If you've downloaded the Bluestar Full edition, you already have everything required to set up an HP printer and scanner. Otherwise, you will need to first install the following packages:

    - hplip
    - python-imaging
    - sane
    - xsane

    Code: [Select]
pacman -S hplip python-imaging sane xsane
Now edit the file /etc/sane.d/dll.conf and uncomment the line that reads "hpaio" - it should be the last line.

Restart your system and you should now be able to use your HP scanner.
